Christmas Eve Offering at 1st UMC

At 1st UMC, we are in the practice of giving away our Christmas Eve Offering. This seems like a fitting thing to do on Christmas as our gift in celebration of Jesus' birth. Last year we were blessed to raise over $20,000 for our sister church: Chicuque United Methodist in Mozambique. The money we raised helped Chicuque complete the remodeling of their pastor's parsonage. This year we would like to help them reroof their church. They estimate that it will be similar in expense to last year: $20,000. This Christmas Eve, all of the offering received at both the 7pm and 11pm candlelight services will again go to our sister church, Chicuque UMC! Thank you for all of the ways you support our church and our United Methodist connection.
